VETAHEAD® is partnering with ACZM to nominate 9 recipients for free access to a one-year VETAHEAD® subscription valued at $1,080.
VETAHEAD® is a subscription for veterinary professionals, with everything they need to see ZooMed (exotic) pets with confidence. Founded by Dr. Laila Proença®, DACZM, it brings together RACE-approved courses, live webinars, Topic Rounds and a monthly Journal Club, alongside clinical calculators and Coco, an AI case assistant grounded in VETAHEAD®'s own evidence-based material — so that no one has to face a ZooMed (exotic) patient alone.
Three of this year's nine VETAHEAD® & ACZM scholarships are given in memory of a sweet black Labrador named Sir Bosley. A thief of socks, a finder of sunlight. When Sir. Bosley faced adversity, after a diagnosis of cancer, he met it the way he met everything else — with courage and resilience — and he stayed far longer than anyone dared hope. His human has chosen to honor him by sending three veterinary professionals through a full year of VETAHEAD®, The Sir Bosley Scholarship. In memory, and in love and compassion.
Deadline

Recipients will be announced on VETAHEAD®'s social media channels and via email on October 20th, 2026.
Scholarship Amount
Access to the VETAHEAD® subscription for one year at no cost (a value of $1,080 each; https://www.vetahead.vet/).
Criteria for Applicants
Applicants must (i) be at least eighteen (18) years old; (ii) be veterinary professionals (veterinarians, technicians, nurses, or veterinary assistants) or students in those professions; (iii) be part of underrepresented groups, including BIPOC communities, LGBTQIA+ communities, and people with disabilities; and (iv) submit a response to this scholarship application. This scholarship is open to anyone in the world.

ACZM DEAI VETERINARY STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP FOR CONFERENCE

Call for Application
The ACZM DEAI committee has established a scholarship that promotes diversity, equity, accessibility and inclusion (DEAI) in the field of zoological medicine by providing support for veterinary students to attend a zoological medicine conference.
Deadline
April 1st, 2026, at 11:59 EST
We hope to have final results to candidates by mid-April.
Scholarship Amount
Up to $3,000.00 USD. The scholarship can be used to cover conference registration, travel costs, and accommodation.
Criteria for Applicants
The applicant must be currently enrolled in veterinary school. Students earlier in their training program will be prioritized. The applicant must be in good academic standing with their veterinary school and be available to attend >50% of the conference.
Conference Eligibility
The conference must occur within one year of acceptance of the scholarship. The conference must be primarily zoological, zoological companion animal, aquatic, and/or wildlife medicine content. It does not need to occur in North America and does not necessarily need to be in person.
